“If your enemy is hungry, give him bread to eat; And if he is thirsty, give him water to drink;
For so you will heap coals of fire on his head, And the Lord will reward you.”
-25:21-22
Sometimes, it is very natural for us to be nasty to those who are opposing us. But by doing that, we are just reacting to the situation like the world. We are in Jesus, who is the “thermostat” and not the “thermometer” i.e, He never allows external circumstances determine the outcome of a situation.
